Hi and welcome to Freelance Business Services. I am Amanda one of the co-founders passionate about helping small business.
My parents have owned small businesses most of my life. In fact, most of my family are small business owners including my aunts and uncles and all my grandparents. You could say business runs in my veins.
I love that small business provides people with the opportunity to do what they love. My favourite saying is “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”. What greater joy than to do something you love every, single, day.
With all this experience with small business I have noticed one thing though. Business is REALLY hard work. Made even harder by the drastic changes in technology and marketing over the last 20 years. I noticed the business people around me struggling. Struggling to find the time to work on their business while still working in their business, struggling to keep up with the drastic rate of change and struggling to understand this new world of business.
So I started to help, in any way I could, utilising my project management, marketing and small business experience together with my business degree from the University of Wollongong. With the help of my co-founder and business partner Karemie we realised that the challenges these small businesses were facing were widespread. Soon Freelance Business Services was born.
Now we get to help small businesses grow on a daily basis.
You could say that I am a very passionate person. I have always loved learning, I’m a total nerd and take the quote “You learn something new every day” as a personal challenge. My passion for learning has embodied itself in social media and content marketing as well as using technology to streamline processes. I’m constantly researching, reading, watching, listening and trialling new methods, programs and options to improve life for my clients. I want to come up with new ideas for content and better ways to market their goods and services.
